About the Artist:

Fern Cassidy incorporates expressive, bright colors and sensual forms to create work that is balanced and harmonious. She finds inspiration from her surroundings and ordinary moments of daily life and creates art that infuses calm and beauty.
Her work explores various artistic styles and mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache. Influences from textile and fiber arts can be seen in much of her work. 
Fern Cassidy is a California based artist and went to California State University at Long Beach where she studied drawing and painting.
